On June 12th, we had 10th
seminar class. I guess the strength of our seminar is a homey atmosphere.
Sometimes we do our class with door opened or discuss some topic while playing
music. It makes us feel relaxed and our project and discussion go smoothly and
actively.
This week, our presentation topic was love
which is probably the most interesting theme for us. A presentation made by
Haruka (Ikuta) and Miho was fabulous. They introduced there types of love using the triangular theory which is consisted of three elements such as intimacy, passion and commitment.
Finally, they concluded their presentation with the eternal theme “Does love last?” If you really want to know the answer now, why don’t you join our seminar and study together?
In the latter half of the class, we
proceeded our project meeting. First, we divided members into three groups in
terms of the management of the project such as 1) seeking support money, 2)
free paper design, and 3) accounting/advertisement. Second, all the members
were divided into another three groups in terms of contents of the free paper such
as 1) communication research, 2) information of Nanzan University, and 3) culture.
At the end of the class, we selected our project leader, Misaki, and reexamined
the further schedule.
In our seminar, we take turn doing presenters
and facilitators. So, it is a good opportunity to watch other’s presentation
and to be a discussion leader. I can say that we are learning various things
through this seminar every week.
